$2 MILLION in CLIMATE SMART COMMUNITY FUNDING
Congratulations to the City of Albany Planning & Development Department on being awarded a $2 million Climate Smart Community (CSC) investment in the Brevator Complete Streets Project!
The CSC funding will enable the transformation of a vehicle-oriented street into a multi-modal corridor that promotes pedestrian, bicycle, and rapid transit service use. This project will expand Albany residents’ options for safe and attractive car-free access to nearby educational and job centers while helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Laberge Group is proud to have partnered with this dedicated team in securing the funds to implement this vitally important project.
