town park improvements

Laberge Group was retained by the Town of Hoosick to provide the conceptual design of a 5-year Park Improvement Program to serve the Town and residents of northeastern Rensselaer County.

The park improvements included conversion of a partially enclosed winter season ice skating rink into a year-round facility, offering the community enclosed basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, indoor soccer, and an area to hold community-wide and public events.

Other planned enhancements included a new T-ball field, wading pool, fitness pathway, volleyball, shuffleboard courts and horseshoe area.

Laberge Group services included survey, design and construction for this project. Design services included permitting and grant management through the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation.
