Laberge Group was retained to develop a Corridor Management Plan for North Genesee Street to assist in guiding public and private growth which would benefit both the corridor and the balance of the City.

The corridor was separated into three segments for this study, as each area presented its own unique challenges.  Issues addressed in the study included driveway consolidation and access management, improved wayfinding signs for historic and recreational sites, and capacity and safety improvements throughout the corridor.

The Corridor Management Plan aimed to guide access to the new planned development, recommend specific proposed design features, and highlight operational “break points” for the corridors transportation features moving forward.
