The Village of Spencer held a well-attended public information meeting on August 24th. The Board of Trustees delivered information regarding a potential Village Dissolution, which is the subject of a referendum due to a petition calling for the dissolution.
Ben Syden and Kathleen Rooney, both of Laberge Group’s Government Operations & Efficiency Team, presented findings from the recently published Interim Study of Dissolution and delivered additional information essential for the electorate to make an informed decision when the proposed dissolution comes to a vote. Attendees were actively engaged during the Question & Answer session and left the meeting with a better understanding of the issues to consider before the Public Referendum (vote) which will be held on September 15 from 12:00 – 9:00 PM at the Village of Spencer Hall.
