Laberge Group has been retained by the Village of Lake George, NY to develop an Interim Dissolution Study. Citizens of the Village submitted a voter-initiated petition for Village dissolution, kicking-off a process stipulated in New York State General Municipal Law.

In addition to aiding with the process established by State law, Laberge Group will collaborate with both the Village and the Town of Lake George on the development of a Study Although this comes at a height of the tourist season, the Board of Trustees is determined to provide full and impartial information necessary for voters in the Village to make an informed decision when they vote in a public referendum that is expected to be scheduled for September.

Laberge Group will conduct the research and analysis necessary to answer important questions regarding the potential impact that a dissolution would have on Village residents – including government representation, service provision, and property taxes.
