Site PlanLaberge Group was retained by the Asian Market located on Central Avenue in Albany, NY to assist them with the renewal of their site plan approval and un-banking of parking. This process entailed:

  • Preparing and submitting to the Town of Colonie Building Department a Commercial Zoning Verification Application.
  • Preparing and submitting to the Town of Colonie Planning Department an application for the renewal of the site plan approval and un-banking of parking.
  • Attending various Town of Colonie meetings that included the Building Department, Planning Board, and Stormwater Management Office.
  • Preparation of easement hold harmless agreements.
  • Facilitated construction by meeting with local contractors and perform the work.
  • 1241 Central Avenue also requested finalizing parking lot improvements and obtaining site plan approval.

The owner also requested assistance in resolving code issues at 1278 Central Avenue and architectural services to prepare new floor plans for the building. Coordination with the Building Department/Planning Department to obtain approvals with ZBA and Planning Department for a change in use.
