PUBLIC REFERENDUM ON DISSOLUTION

JANUARY 14, 2025

The Village Board of Trustees has adopted a resolution calling for a referendum on the dissolution of the Village of Tannersville. On January 14, 2025, Village electors will vote on a single question:
“Shall the Village of Tannersville be dissolved?”
Yes or No

PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED DISSOLUTION PLAN

The Village Board of Trustees called for a public hearing on the Village of Tannersville Proposed Dissolution Plan Monday November 4, 2024 at 6 pm at the Tannersville Village Hall, located at 1 Park Lane (5974 Main Street), Tannersville, NY 12485. The purpose of the Public Hearing was to seek public input on the proposed plan and the subject of dissolution of the Village of Tannersville. A complete copy of the Proposed Plan can be found in the Documents Section of this website. The Plan includes a detailed summary located at the beginning of the Proposed Plan document. Many thanks to those who attended the second Public Information Meeting, both online and in person. This well-attended meeting included a presentation of the findings of the Village Dissolution Study and Plan thus far. The presentation was followed by an interactive question and answer period.
